The FHLBank System consists of twelve regional FHLBanks. Each bank administers several million dollars in downpayment assistance through the "Affordable Housing Program" (AHP) in partnership with their member banks. Nonprofits may partner with a member bank to apply for and assist in distributing the downpayment assistance funds.
