Vintage Glass Ball Christmas Ornaments - Item # 0083 - SOLD

This is an assortment of vintage glass Christmas ornaments. It consists of three boxes of ornaments made under the Shiny Bright name by Poloron Products, Inc. in New Rochelle, New York USA. They are made of blown glass and date as far back as the 1960's and 70's. The packaging is original but slightly tattered. One box does not have a cover for it.

The first box has 7 of the original ornaments and two from another set. The 7 are light blue with a Christmas tree scene frosted on the surface. 4 of the ornaments are very shiny and 3 are a softer satin finish. The two remaining ornaments have a shiny red surface. One is an oblong ornament with a narrowed top and pointy bottom. It has the pattern of snowflakes applied to it. The other red ornament is round (like the rest) and has no pattern on it. These all appear to be used but still in excellent condition. There is no knicks, or scratches, or snow flocking on any of these ornaments. The box is in very good condition.

The second box has 8 gold ornaments (two are missing). They have a shiny surface. There is no design on these ornaments. These look like they have never been used and are in Like New condition. The box is quite tattered but still intact.

The last box has 12 assorted ornaments. They are all red, 9 are shiny and 3 has a satin finish. 5 of the ornaments have scenes of flying doves applied to them. They appear to have been used. The ones without a pattern have some scratches in them. The ones with doves are still in Very Good. The box is tattered and has no top.

This item is in Very Good to Like New condition and some may be NOS (New Old Stock). It is complete and includes the original packaging. These are great for adding some good tidings to the Holidays. They are made in the U.S.A. They are from another time and just plain nice to look at. They should make someone's decorations special this year.
