You can also manage Mac files in your usual way - from the Windows Desktop to the Windows Explorer to the MS-DOS window, and from within applications. And what if you want to put new or changed data back on the Mac disk? Just do a Save File and it's done. Now what could be easier than that? Just Open, Close, Copy, and Save the same way you always do.
MacTransfer integrates seamlessly with the operation of your PC. Once it is installed you can read from and write to any Macintosh disks from within any standard Windows 95 application. You can see the contents of any Mac disks, and Copy, Delete, or Rename files and Directories. MacTransfer takes care of differences between filenames automatically when necessary. You can Format disks in Macintosh format, ready to use on any Macintosh.

The Free MacDisk for the PC that supports operation in Windows 3.1 is a mail-in promotion that has expired and is no longer offered by Insignia.
