Use the following tools to repair or recover disks, folders, or files:

• UnErase - Recovers files that have been thrown away or don't appear due to disk damage.
• Norton Disk Editor - Edits data directly on your disk.

Prevention and Protection

Use the following tools to prevent the majority of disk problems from becoming serious and minimize the effects of damage should it be unavailable:

• FileSaver - Checks your disks for problems while your Macintosh is idle and alerts you to problems as they develop. FileSaver tells you when to perform backups or optimization. FileSaver saves valuable information about your disks and files that other Norton Utilities programs use.

• Norton Fastback - Makes and restores backup copies of your files.
• WipeInfo - Overwrites file contents so that they can never be recovered. Wipe Info is accelerated for the Power Macintosh.
