Westinghouse 10 inch 4 Blade Fan - Item # 0044
This is a cool fan. It has a great look with the grey wrinkle finish paint and fins on the motor. It looks like an old time dispatching microphone. There is some paint splatters on the base and motor but these should be able to be removed. The motor starts and runs smoothe and quiet. There is some vibration when running. The base is made of cast material and has some chipping of the grey wrinkle finish. The photos show these defects. The base has a wing nut under the motor to adjust the fan's angle. The rotary style power switch is located on the side of the motor cover.. It works fine and has snap in it's action. The power cord may be the original vinyl zip-cord and two prong molded plug. It is in very good shape. No attempt has been made to clean or pretty up this item. There is dust on the item and the fan guard is slightly bent on the right side. This fan works great and is complete. This little indoor fan looks cool. The fan blades may need balancing before the fan can be used. They are not balanced and the fan vibrates when running. It is a neat design and can be made to provide many more years of service. It is also a fantastic conversation piece. This little fan is great for anyone wanting some fresh air at their desk.
