Mickey Mouse / Zebco Fishing Outfit - Item # 0004 - SOLD
This unique toy is in excellent condition, with no evident signs of use. The Rod is 25 inches long overall. The reel is contained in the blue plastic handle and shaped for small hands. There is absolutely no rusting inside or out (the photos do not show this very well) and all the metal is shiny bright. The fiberglass rod is clean and white and the eyelets shine. The reel has monofilament line and it casts just fine. It has a rubber practice lure attached to the end of the line. A very fun toy and Everything works.
The bobber is very cute and also in excellent condition. Here is Mickey, floating on the water on an little innertube. The innertube has 4 authentic innertube patches painted on it. Very cute. It is 2 and 3/4 inches high and 2 inches across. There is printing on the innertube at the rear that reads: (copyright symbol) THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY, MADE IN CHINA, ZEBCO. There is one very small nick in the black paint (Mickey's body) and aroung the tops of Mickey's ears the black has worn thin. Otherwise, it is in perfect condition. This bobber attaches to the fishing line just like a regular bobber - clipping around the line at the top and/or bottom. Neither of these pieces have ever been used in the water. This is an exceptional find. Immediately enjoyable by young and old.
