Bubble Lamp - Item # 0002 - SOLD
The Bubble Lamps designed by George Nelson
in the early 1950s for the Howard Miller
Clock Company have become increasingly rare
and sought-after. This lamp design is unique
because it is a sphere with six flattened
areas (see photos). It measuring approximately
19" inches diameter (approx. 60 inches
in circumference). It is approximately 16
inches high. The skin surface is in good
condition with some signs of aging and quite
alittle dust. There are two small holes and
no apparent dents in the skin material as
illustrated below. This lamp comes with the
original cord cut to 20 inches. There is
no wear anyplace along the cord. As you can
see from the photos the metal is in very
good shape
